Furnace Service & Installation, Hot Water Tank Replacement, Boiler Maintenance
Why Annual Maintenance is a Good Idea
Old heating systems used to be relatively simple in design and construction, and many repair and maintenance items could be done by the average homeowner. Not so in the 21st century. Most homes now have high efficiency heating systems with advanced electronic controls, and can only operate efficiently when properly maintained and calibrated.
There a different types of hot water delivery systems, HVAC, heat pumps, solar heat, electric heating and of course a myriad of brands, sizes and complexity. Their elaborate heat exchange and electronic control components are beyond most of us when it comes to maintenance and especially repair.
New Installations
Due to rising costs for gas and electricity, many older homes have upgraded to a new high-efficiency furnace or boiler or to one of the more elaborate HVAC systems for year round comfort. Newer furnaces, whether manufactured by Rheem, Lennox, Bradford White or others, require specialized knowledge when it comes to maintenance.
Let us Handle It
These days furnace repair is best left to a heating technician. Gas furnace, boiler troubleshooting and hot water tank service should always be carried out by a trained professional. We are here to take care of that for you.
Do-It-Yourself Items
Should you detect a problem with one of these systems in your home, such as little or no heat, there are a few things you may want to look at before calling us. You don’t want to pay for a service call only to discover someone has lowered the thermostat setting. Resetting a tripped circuit breaker is something you can do, but if it trips a second time you need to call a specialist to find out why. You might also be able to relight the pilot light, but, again, if it goes out more than once call us right away.
Assured Comfort and Safety
Though winters are relatively mild in the Vancouver area, most of us rely on our heating systems to keep us warm for six or seven months each year. Keeping your family warm and safe, as well as saving money on gas consumption, are good reasons to have your system properly maintained every year. Setting up a maintenance program is easy and saves you the trouble of remembering when to call us for the annual tune-up. If a new furnace installation is on your mind we are happy to help you determine the right fit.
